Episode 11 – Interview with Eric, A Sexual Abuse Survivor
Hear from Eric, a sexual abuse survivor. Eric was sexually abused by a family member when he was a child. The trauma of the abuse has impacted him throughout much of his adult life. Eric shares his story which includes his struggle with addiction issues and how therapy is helping him deal with the trauma he suffered.
Eric’s story will be published in two parts. The second part of this discussion covers the perspective of being a Black male survivor of sexual abuse as well as the work he is doing with Prevail, an organization dedicated to serving victims of violence and abuse, to help others who are struggling with issues related to sexual abuse.
